Workers continue the development of a 465-meter elevated test track of the Automated Guideway Transit System (AGT) prototype at the University of the Philippines Diliman campus. The AGT is a fully automated and driverless electric transportation system that travels on an elevated railway.

Workers start clearing tons of garbage which accumulated on G. Araneta Avenue after rains stopped on Thursday allowing the water to subside. Eleven days of continuous rains brought about by a southwest monsoon flooded 60% of Metro Manila.

The Milky Way is seen on a moonless night across the mountains surrounding Barangay Bantey, Tadian town in Mountain Province. One needs to get out of the city, away from the city lights and other light pollution to be able to see the Milky Way with a naked eye.
